Have always wanted to try this style ....

During one of our street shoots around Mandarin Gallery, this couple caught my eye. Immediately, I knew I had to take a picture of them, even though they were in a hurry (as street style photographers, you learn how to be persistant and very thick skinned!). They had such complementary styles, and the touch of red on the girl provided the extra edge. I especially loved how the guy picked his sunnies that matched his face shape and his hair-style.

Every now and then, we try to experiment with different styles. I've in the past, contemplated on how to pull this off. The requirements (as a guy) was to have a tall and thin body, great looking facial features and lots of hair. I did not have all 3 - but hey that's what experimentation was all about, right...? So I got my tailor (to his greatest disbelief - throughout the measurement he was constantly shaking his head from left to right) to shrink my pants to a size only the body in my mind could fit etc etc... 

Many measurements later and 2 hours of shopping (I thought I had lost like a gazillion calories and become went from size 34 to size 26 from all that walking) and $500 poorer, I started to assemble the look.

So ANYWAY....it was an epic fail. Now, I'm not going to show the end result, cos that's so unglam. I'll use what I found on google search "tight pants fat people" to show what happens if you're not realistic about your own body. 

So anyway... epic fail attempt, but has not stopped me from imagining what I could have pulled off. Maybe I'll try again, and maybe this time I'll really post my attempt... NOT!.
